Dyslexia is a specific learning disability that is neurobiological in origin. It is characterized by difficulties with accurate and/or fluent word recognition and by poor spelling and decoding abilities. In the classroom, dyslexia may be the reason a student falls behind in reading, spelling and/or writing.
Join Syllables Learning Center Executive Director Jennifer Hasser, M. Ed. to learn how to determine if dyslexia is affecting your student and what strategies can help.
In this lively 60-minute session, learn why identifying dyslexia is so important and why multisensory Structured Literacy instruction is the key to helping students overcome this challenge.
This event is free, but registration is required.
We hope you will join us!
